Earlier this week I had two separate Orange-crowned Warblers in Davidson
county - the first in the hedgerow on Old Hickory Blvd past Bells Bend on
Monday, March 4; and another the next day, March 5, in Centennial Park in
midtown Nashville, which was a new bird for me at that hotspot location.
(Wintering Green Heron and Black-crowned Night-Heron are both continuing in
that location as well.)
Yesterday, March 6, a flock of at least a dozen first of season Tree
Swallows were actively feeding over Radnor Lake.
