[TN-Bird] Tracking ECDO

We decided to check the railroad swich yard in east Knox county for Eurasian
Collared doves this morning. The yards are located off Rutledge Pike(11W).
Access to the yards are limited, but there are roads on both sides. We were
not able to find and ECDO there. We followed the tracks north and east through
Mascot and out Mine Rd, but still no ECDO. We crossed the Holston River at the
McBee bridge and drove Old Andrew Johnson highway towards New Market following
a different set of tracks. Still no ECDO. At New Market we got on 11E. Just
past New Market as you top the hill before you get to Jeffereson City, there is
a dairy farm on the west side of the road. Just past the dairy farm we found
an ECDO on the power lines on the east side of 11E. The bird was in Jefferson
county. It was the only ECDO we found today.
While in the area we stopped by Mossey Creek. There we ran into Shane Adams
and his brother. We didn't see anything unexpected there, but had some nice
looks at a flock of waxwings.
