Tony was always very inquisitive and encouraging when I would see him
around as a new birder, which made me feel welcome to the scene. Later he
would treat me like I was some kind of ace birder, which is far from true
but was appreciated and sort of funny. Gonna miss his enthusiasm, sense of
humor, and that accent.
