Cedar Hill, TN and Murfreesboro, TN

Tony Lance took me out and about Cedar Hill, TN where I photographed the
Savannah Sparrow and Horned Larks -- life birds for me. Tony, I downloaded
the horned lark photos as requested. We also went to Johnson's farm where I was
able to photograph the juvenile and adult red-headed woodpeckers. We searched
for the shrike, but did not see one. Kestrels, swamp sparrows, eastern meadow
larks, black vultures, and eurasian collared doves were also noted. I cannot
say I saw some of them because I was not wearing my glasses and was not able to
photograph them for solid proof. When I came home, I read e-mail  that stated
there was an Egyptian Goose at the Gateway Pond in Murfreesboro, TN. I drove
there and photographed the bird. I realize it is not on the list, but it is
such a spectacular looking bird. Thank you so much, Tony. It was a pleasure
meeting you and I envy your skill at spotting and IDing birds. I hope we can do
this again sometime.
