Cedars of Lebanon State Park

This Saturday, October 12, we dine and we bird! It's *The Big Sit!* and we
will be doing some big sitting, big eating and big birding from the fire
pit behind the Nature Center (and across the creek) at Cedars of Lebanon
State Park. And birders everywhere are invited.
This event will serve as the makeup for our previously postponed club
picnic so please plan to visit Saturday, bring a dish and whatever meat you
wish to eat, and Stephen will be grilling. Geri will be making cobbler in a
Dutch oven and Linda is making ice cream so dessert is covered. Everything
else is fair game.
The plan is to bird from this location from sunrise Saturday morning until
sometime after dark. We will probably eat around noon Saturday so plan
accordingly. Bring a comfortable chair, binoculars, mosquito repellent, and
anything else you wish, including friends and neighbors.
