Jeff Wilson called this afternoon and said that he had the Thayer's Gull back in the same pool (off Hwy. 64) in Hardin County where it was first seen a week ago. He said it was first seen at about 1 pm so it is still being seen more at this location in the afternoon. He said he checked there first thing this morning and the bird was not there then. He also said that there was a 2nd year Lesser Black-backed Gull present as well as several immature Herring Gulls. Jeff will be in the area tomorrow and I think he said some others were coming to look for this bird as well. If you want to reach Jeff you can call him on his cell phone at 901-487-8521.
