A note of gratitude to those who helped me add three birds to my life list the last four days.. First, to an inspirational group of birders at the Reelfoot CBC who allowed me to tag along and showed me short eared owls and horned greebes, not to mention sharing pearls of wisdom too numerous to mention. Second, to Arkansas posters who told me where to go to find the tundra swan on Magness Lake, still there yesterday (20th) with a Ross's goose, 80+ trumpeter swans and many ducks. What a fabulous source of information these listserves are, and thank you to all who share their sightings. Happy Holidays to everyone.
