Radnor Lake State Natural Area Nashville-Davidson Co, TN 28 May 2008 Adding to earlier reports from Frank Fekel and Jan Shaw, I was out for a hike at Radnor Lake around noon today and had a singing Tennessee Warbler between the dam and the west parking lot. The third edition of "Birds of Nashville Area" has 25 May as the latest observation date. I don't have any later editions, but nonetheless, this one is definitely a straggler. Also, near the bridge where the lake trail meets the road, I observed on the path a family of Lousiana Waterthrushes. The fledglings flitted right out in the open, begging for treats from an obliging parent. They seemed much more interested in food than me, so I got some good looks.
