[TN-Bird] TOS winter meeting schedule and itinerary

TN-Birders and TOS members:
The Tennessee Ornithological Society winter meeting is this coming weekend  
Feb. 8, 9 & 10 
Paris Landing State Park will be headquarters for outings Saturday and  
Sunday.
There are still plenty of rooms available at Paris Landing Inn, winter  rates 
apply, with coupon*

Friday afternoon: check-in, 6:30 - 8:00 pm dinner and  meet-and-greet - Inn 
Restaurant
 
Saturday: field trip to Pace Point and other points of interest in Henry  and 
Benton Counties.
Mike Todd is familiar with the area and will be our guide to  traditional 
best birding spots.
6:30 - 7:30am breakfast, Inn Restaurant (winter hours 6:30 am - 8 pm)
7:45  meet for car-pooling ** bring radio/walkie-talkie if you have  one
8:00  depart for Pace Point
9:00  arrive Pace Point... ** bring snacks and/or lunch for long  morning 
birding the area. Late lunch break in Big Sandy. Afternoon: Britton  Ford etc. 
arriving back at Paris Landing between 5:30 & 6 pm. 
6:30 - 8 pm dinner, compilation & and informal TOS "bull session" - Inn  
Restaurant
 
Sunday: several field trip possibilities including Paris Landing Park,  Ft. 
Donelson & Cross Creeks NWR for those sticking around and/or heading  back 
east; on your own return to Britton Ford or other area from Saturday; Land  
Between the Lakes; Duck River NWR; or for those heading back west Hatchie  NWR 
etc.
 
The weather forecast looks fairly mild for the weekend, so no excuse, get  
off the internet and get out and see some birds! Hope to see you there.
