[TN-Bird] TOS has 12,000 Discover Birds Activity Books

Thanks to a generous grant from the Tennessee Crane Fund, the Tennessee
Ornithological Society (TOS) has just received 12,000 freshly printed copies of
the Discover Birds Activity Book! This makes the fifth printing of the
publication with 4000 books distributed to children in Tennessee and other
select areas since 2012.
The Discover Birds Program incorporates a bird walk and other learning
activities with a free copy of the activity book for each child. Educators may
receive the books free for their classrooms or program by providing interactive
experiences that introduce children to birds.
Cyndi Routledge is the coordinator for book distribution and we are also
grateful to Cyndi and Steve Routledge for providing the humidity controlled
