Chuck Nicholson and I have been working on some overdue updates
to the Tennessee Bird Records Committee website. The TBRC website
is linked off of the TOS website <http://www.tnbirds.org/index.shtml>.

Recent updates include...

- Revised Official State List which Mike Todd posted last fall. This
list is up-to-date through all current Committee actions. Note though
that there are several species which have been reported in Tennessee
that have not been submitted to the TBRC and thus do not appear on
the list. Examples include Cackling Goose, Black-throated Sparrow,
Bridled Tern, Great-tailed Grackle, Thayer's Gull and several others.
I encourage folks to please submit records for any species not on the
Official List to the Committee.

- Revised list of recent and pending actions by the Committee. The
revised pages include all Committee actions from 2000 through 2004.
I still need to write-up the actions from 2005. All of these have
been previously published in The Migrant with the exception of the
2003-2004 records which Mike Todd recently submitted but which have
not gone to press yet.

- Revised photo gallery. Photos that have recently been submitted
to the TBRC and accepted have been posted. These include White-winged
Dove, Black-necked Stilt, Sage Thrasher and Calliope Hummingbird. I'm
hoping to add a few more and will add all new photos as they are
voted upon.

More revisions should follow. Any suggestions for how the website
can be improved to be more informative and useful will be gladly
accepted.
