[TN-Bird] TBRC accepts 5 new additions to state list

A full report of recent actions by the Tennessee Bird Records
Committee will be included in a future issue of 'The Migrant'
but I want to make everyone aware that the Committee has
accepted records which will add 5 new species to the Official
Checklist of the Birds of Tennessee.

These are...

Mottled Duck, submitted by Mike Todd
Thayer's Gull, submitted by Mike Todd
Inca Dove, submitted by Theresa and Danny Graham
Townsend's Solitaire, submitted by Dan and Laurie Mooney
Golden-Crowned Sparrow, submitted by Keith and Peggy Kunkel

also,
California Gull, submitted by Mike Todd, is moved off the
'Provisional' list.

Photos that were submitted of all of these species can now
be found on the TBRC photo site at

http://www.tnbirds.org/TRBC

The online checklist does not yet reflect these additions or
recent taxonomy changes from the AOU but we hope to have a
fully revised Official Checklist available soon.
