They usually have a solid white head. Could you give more details on that feature? Anyway a great find of a bird that will hopefully show up nesting in TN in the future. It recently nested in Arkansas and has been reported in spring and summer on two occasions in a bottomland area just 20-25 miles south of Memphis. Good Birding!!! Jeff R.
