Subject: [TN-Bird] Surprise Yard Bird #179
This morning, 7-30-17 I was birding in my yard (Stoll Farm) in Perry County,
searching for a few warblers to fill in my 370+ specie list for this July when
I found a new yard bird, a ratty looking adult SWAINSON'S WARBLER in prebasic
moult, warbler #37 for my yard and the first one I saw this year. (My first was
heard only at Hatchie).
This leaves me only Kirtland's from the East side or a possible Western
vagrant to search for as a possible future new yard warbler.
Other warblers seen this morning:
Swainson's Warbler 1
Worm-eating Warbler 2
Blue-winged Warbler 1
Black-and-white Warbler 1
Kentucky Warbler 2
Common Yellowthroat 4
American Redstart 1
Northern Parula 3
Prairie Warbler 6
Yellow-breasted Chat 12
