October 4, 2006 Booker T. Washington State Park Chattanooga, Hamilton Co, TN We have had an immature Surf Scoter in the main inlet at Booker T. Washington State Park over the lat 4 days. It has normally been seen 3/4 of the way towards the back of the inlet, generally in the middle. People have been scoping the bird from the pain piers or walking along the wooded path that follows the edge of the inlet.
