KING RAIL, 1, still parading for anyone who will sit and watch
Virginia Rail, 1, keeping the King company
BLUE-WINGED TEAL, incubating 5/12, empty 5/14 8:00 AM.
The 1 remaining egg felt very warm even though the weather was cool and
sprinkling
The nest appeared undisturbed, with shells and membranes clean and packed
down
I haven't seen the other pair this week.
Please watch for the young, especially in a week or two, and post or e-mail
Wood Duck, 8 males, 3 females; haven't seen the young for a while
Canada Goose, 50+ total, 2 adults with 3 duck-sized young, 2 adults with 4
teal-sized young
BOBOLINK, at least 8, all female
Sandpipers
Peep (Least?) 1, Pectoral (?) 2, Spotted 1
