[TN-Bird] Somebody Prayed for Rain- Ensley Bottoms is wet

MS RV, Ensley Bottoms
Shelby Co. TN
 
I could not get down to the Bottoms yesterday but made it today around 11  
for a couple of hours. The heavy rains were still coming in spurts and so 
were  the birds. It is amazing how these migrating birds find water so fast. 
There  were a few thousand Least, a very few Semipalmated Plovers and 
Sandpipers, 3  immature Pectoral Sandpipers, 3 Spotted, 2 Greater Yellowlegs, 
15 
Lesser  Yellowlegs, 5 immature Stilt Sandpipers, Killdeer and Black-necked 
Stilts with  the kicker being FOS, 2 Wilson's Snipe. Sure is nice to have some 
of the  long-legged shorebirds around.
 
On the MS RV, an adult Bald Eagle reigned over Dacus Bar with just a few  
Spotted, Least and Killdeer for company.
