With a blanket of snow and ice on the ground, there were at least 5 Pine
Siskins and 8 Collared-Doves at the feeders here this morning.
Don't remember too many reports of siskins on tn-bird this year; are others
seeing them?

A single siskin came to the thistle feeder on my deck in the snowy, cold
northwest corner of Shelby County this morning. A little earlier, a first of
season purple finch came to drink at the heated birdbath.
