I was very surprised to hear what sounded like a singing Louisiana
Waterthrush today at Randor Lake. I was headed down Otter Creek Road
nearing the West Parking lot when I heard what sounded like a Louisiana
Waterthrush. Given the late date, I wanted to make sure of what I was
hearing. Fortunately, the bird was very cooperative as it flew back and
forth across the road, perching and singing.

I would expect such behavior in the Spring, but it seems unusual for mid
August.
