WISE SAYINGS OF THE OLD OWL

And what of SILENCE? a little Bluebird asked.

        The Owl whispered:

Through the ages the wise have tried to explain silence.
Each have given a different explanation.

Some said it is on the ocean floor.

Some said it is a speck of dust at rest.

Others have said it is the floating moon.

And what of your explanation, oh Wise One?

The Owl replied, SILENCE is a........dead Woodpecker.

(Wallace--do I really have to sign this one?)
