Comments: Sunny, slight breeze, hazee from dust being kicked up. Met up
with Dick Preston and Allen Trently, We scoured the complex pretty well.
Shorebirds present but very skittish as they flushed periodically from each
lagoon they were in. Something was flying around we didn't see.

Black-necked Stilt 10 one single parent had 4 fluff balls about 2 weeks old

Least Sandpiper 1000 upwards of a thousand scattered through out the
complex, quite a few in a wet area below the spread field hills.
White-rumped Sandpiper 12 Flew right in front of me after they flushed
from a wet area near the spread fields, white rump very visible on all birds as
they banked in flight.
Pectoral Sandpiper 75 Probably a low count they were spread out every where

Little Blue Heron 28 Spread out today in the complex, a good number still
in the grassy/reedy area of the finger ponds. 1 adult the rest white Juvs.

Yellow-crowned Night-Heron 10 one adult the rest all juv that continue
their stay in the area of the finger lagoons
White Ibis 46 Continueing birds pastr two weeks, Made several passes
through the area where the Ibis's were at, finally something flushed and pushed
them all into one general open area where i was able to count them several
times as they began to wander off into reeds and high grass areas. Before i
left Allen & i witnessed about 13-15 birds take flight and headed to the SE
Corner of the complex. A mowing tractor had just started its run not far from
the area they were in.

Blue Grosbeak 5 1 male 1 female and three that looked like juvs who were
chasing mom around
