Location: TN 1 Cvll, Peterson Lake Nature Center Observation date: 4/26/09 Notes: 16 Members of the Memphis TOS gathered for a Spring Migration hike in the Bottoms here in Collierville. Gorgeous day scattered clouds slight breeze and warming nicely to the mid 70's. Migration in full throttle, lots of birds through out the trees. Everywhere we turned a white eyed vireo was calling/singing. Best birds of the day were the Summer Tanagers giving good long closeup looks as well as a Yel-Br Chat who sat on a tree top singing its heart out. Prothonotary Warblers scattered through out the wetlands and singing.
