Sightings Report, 2 Feb 2007, Ensley Bottoms Area, Memphis, Shelby County
Location:     TN 2 Mem, Riverport Rd Ponds / Swamp

Observation date:     2/2/07

Notes:     We had our 1st measurable amount of snow of the year last night.
By time I got out to lunch however it was 95% gone and the temp was up in
the high 30's. Some ice on the edges of the sloughs and ponds. Lots of small
bird movement along the edges of the ponds.

Ring-necked Duck     7

Hooded Merganser     4

Pied-billed Grebe     2

Great Blue Heron     1

Red-shouldered Hawk     1

Red-tailed Hawk     1

Ruby-crowned Kinglet     1

Eastern Bluebird     3

Location:     TN 2 Mem,TVA PONDS

Observation date:     2/2/07

Notes:     Ducks must be down at the Mckellar lake area because their not
here. The dredging is really active even after last nights snow, that might
be disturbing the birds because they were huddled mostly in the SEC corner
and on the small pond.
