Comments:     Rob Harbin & Jay Walko drove the Pits today to count for 
Migratory bird day. Met Mike Todd, Chloe & Nolan Walker above Pit #4 and traded 
info on the day so far.Temps ranged from 60-66 degrees with overcast skies 
during the overall 5 hours of birding today in Memphis. The same two bald 
eagles seen on Riverport rd were seen flying south over the Pits as we entered 
the compound.
31 species (+1 other taxa)
Black-bellied Whistling-Duck  97     Several of this years broods have fledged 
and are now flying with the flock. Four other broods were found with a total of 
32 additional young in various stages of development.
Greater White-fronted Goose  1     Same injured bird all summer.
Canada Goose  14
Mallard  43
Blue-winged Teal  71
Northern Shoveler  34
Canvasback  1     Same bird seen last couple of weeks, Seen diving in the 
center ponds.
Northern Bobwhite  2     Heard calling to one another.
Turkey Vulture  3
Black-necked Stilt  5
Semipalmated Plover  4
Killdeer  75
Spotted Sandpiper  1
Solitary Sandpiper  2
Greater Yellowlegs  2
Lesser Yellowlegs  27
