Notes: Yesterdays storms ended up dumping an enormous amount of birds
into the pits 2000+ least Sandpipers. Could be some others but they were off
in the distance on the back side of pond #4. Only looked at Pond #5 (the big
lagoon) from the intersection pt between the ponds. Back corner of the big
lagoon could be holding birds also. Buff-breasted were seen in the weeds
along one of the levee rds leading west away from the big lagoons. They were
in the weeds/on the rd with about a dozen Killdeer when my car flushed them
out to the top of the fresh dirt piles. Have pictures if needed for ID.
