These shrikes may very well nest in this small tree so you might keep an eye 
out. I would be willing to bet that they are not migrants. They like isolated 
short trees in which to nest and in Florida they are often found in the trees 
planted in large parking lots. I have seen them nesting in a Walmart parking 
lot. They build a large ramshackle affair for nesting, using anything from 
twigs, to paper. They were seen regularly last year in a parking lot at a 
shopping center in Bartlett and nested just across the street the year before.
