I followed up on Warren's report and went late the next afternoon (Monday).
About 5:40 P.M. I observed a short-eared owl flying over the fields on Hyatt
Lane. I got a close look at it, but did not get a photo until it was farther
away. The distant photo is included in my eBird report.
