[TN-Bird] Shorebirds, yard birds

This morning (May 14) at Old Hickory Dam I spotted what at first appeard to
be two parent shorebirds with 8 little ones feeding along the shore, but upon
closer inspection it turned out to be 2 Dunlin and 8 Least Sandpipers, both
lifers for me so I was excited. These were at the boat ramp peninsula above
the
dam on the south (Old Hickory) side, just above the beach area. I didn't see
the Laughing Gull, but that's OK.

On another note, some House Wrens have taken up residence in one of our
boxes. Bluebirds have already started their second brood in one house, while
Carolina Chickadees fledged their babies about a week ago from another.
