I had plum forgotten what shorebirds even look like. There are finally
some beginning to accumulate on the Duck River Mudflats. (Probably not for
long).
Daniel Redwine and I had 13 species of waterfowl, (4 of which were Geese,
including an early date for Cackling) 13 species of shorebirds (including 4
Plover sp.) and 5 swallow species, including a late date for Bank Swallow
this evening at the Duck River Unit TNWR in Humphreys County. Here is a
