[TN-Bird] Shorebirds at Brainerd Levee, Hamilton County, TN

David and Cindy Hollie, Dan Jacobson, and I spent a couple of hours
scoping the shorebirds at the Brainerd Levee behind Boyd Buchanan
School,  late afternoon May 18.  Here are the highlights:

 

2 (maybe 3) BAIRD'S SANDPIPER

8 WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER

9 Semipalmated Plover

3 Spotted Sandpiper

8 Semipalmated Sandpiper

36 Least Sandpiper

 

Misc. note:

Clyde Blum and I found a OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER in a large dead tree
behind the New York Monument on the Cravens plaza at the Cravens House
on Lookout Mountain Sunday May 14.  The first sighting for the year for
Hamilton County.
