Shelby Park and Bottoms

This Friday morning I went to a very foggy Shelby Park in Nashville and
wandered around both Mission Hill and the Bottoms. Mission Hill was
actually the better venue, as I refound the OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER
first seen yesterday morning by Mike Smith. It was flycatching in the
same location where this species has been found in previous years.
There were also several warbler species in that area, the best of
which was a WILSON'S WARBLER.
Specifically, the flycatcher was perched at the top of the tallest
dead snags on the right hand side along the paved trail on Mission
Hill from the main parking area. The several trees with snags
are situated just before the paved trail sharply curves to the right
on the front side of the hill.
