Shelby Park and Bottoms
East Nashville, Davidson Co.
 
Mary Zimmerman and I birded Shelby Park and
phase 1 of Shelby Bottoms this morning, and 
found 85 species. Highlights included the following
23 species of Warblers:
Blue-winged
Tennessee
Nashville
Northern Parula
Yellow
Chestnut-sided
Cape May
Yellow-rumped
Black-throated Green
Blackburnian
Yellow-throated
Palm
Bay-breasted
Blackpoll
Cerulean
Black-and-white
American Redstart
Prothonotary
Ovenbird
Northern Waterthrush
Common Yellowthroat
Hooded
Yellow-breasted Chat
 
Other birds seen included:
 
Spotted Sandpiper
Solitary Sandpiper
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Least Flycatcher
Yellow-throated Vireo
Warbling Vireo
Gray-cheeked Thrush
Summer Tanager
Scarlet Tanager
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
