At Shelby Forest State Park today I noticed first of season white-eyed vireo,
ovenbird and blue-gray gnatcatcher. On Monday last, the FOS ruby-throated
hummingbird and yellow-throated warbler appeared in my yard in nw Shelby
County.
My yard nestboxes are busy. A NABS box holds 5 Carolina chickadee eggs. One
Gilbertson box currently holds 1 bluebird egg and another holds two.
