Mississippi River: Least Terns-2 President's Island: Western Kingbirds 3 locations including hybrid plus Scissortailed Flycatcher male only, immature Bald Eagles, Olive-sided FC, Least Tern, Common Nighthawk TVA Lake: White Pelican, DC Cormorant Riverport Road: female Anhinga, Least Bittern Ensley Bottoms: Shorebirds -16 species: Semipalmated Plovers, Killdeer, plus First of Season- just hatched Black-necked Stilts, Spotted Sandpipers, Solitary Sandpipers,Lesser Yellowlegs, Semipalmated Sandpipers, Least Sandpipers, White-rumped Sandpipers, 1-BAIRD'S SANDPIPER, Pectoral Sandpipers, Dunlins, Stilt Sandpipers, SHORT-BILLED DOWICHERS, Wilson's Snipe, and a single male, Wilson's Phalarope. black-bellied Whistlers, Mallards, Blue-winged Teal 2 pair Shovelers. Four active Loggerhead Shrike nests. Little Blue and Snowy Egrets. Still White-c and White-t Sparrows present. Good Birding!! Jeff R.
