Hello friends, Saw a sharp-shinned hawk on a rural country lane in Fairview TN (Williamson County) last Thursday (March 24.) He was perched on the ground in an old flattened corn field, about 20 feet from my car. Not sure who was more shocked--he or me! We stared at each other for a minute or two before I remembered my camera in my purse, but at the moment I moved to get it, he spooked and took off.
