We were at Seven Islands Wildlife Refuge in the pouring rain to see the
grassland management progress. If you haven't visited Seven Islands yet, now
is the time to see the Native Warm-season Grasses growing.
Canada Geese - 1
Mourning Dove - 100+
Ruby-throated Hummingbird - 2
Chimney Swifts - 100+
Blue Jay 1
Carolina Wren 4
N Mockingbird 2
Indigo Bunting - 100+, many without tails!
N Cardinal 4
Blue Grosbeak 1
Field Sparrow 10
Song Sparrow 1
Am Goldfinch 10+
Even in the rain you can see some good birds.
