Jay Sturner and I took 5 gentlemen from Kingsport today (5/4/15) to Seven
Islands State Birding Park (Knox County). We had 68 species during our 3
mile walk. The highlight was a male Bobolink. Other notables for the park

1 Purple Martin
1 Northern Waterthrush
2 Prothonotary Warbler
1 Yellow Warbler
1 Palm Warbler
3 Grasshopper Sparrows
5 Summer Tanagers
3 Orchard Orioles
White-throated, White-crowned and Savannah Sparrows were still present.
First trip I did not have a Swamp Sparrow this year.
