Sorry I didn't get this out last night - computer glitches. I made a quick run up Sequatchie Valley yesterday, first stop was the Johnson family farm just off Sprouse Hill Road (DeLorme page 24). There was a very large flock of Brewer's Blackbirds present, just below the house in a feedlot, and perched in the surrounding trees 50+?? At the Swafford Pond just east of Pikeville on Upper East Valley Road (DeLorme page 41), one Blue and one Snow Goose are wintering. A quick search of Nine Mile Cross Road failed to turn up a Rough-legged Hawk, but I didn't have a lot of time to check the whole area.
