July 4, 2007 South Pittsburgh, TN Marion Co. We visited Beene Stadium in South Pittsburgh, TN on Wednesday noon. On the back side of the stadium were 2 adult and 4 young Scissor-tailed Flycatchers. From I-24 proceed toward downtown. Cedar Ave. is the main street through town. Just before Beene Football Stadium turn left until you reach Railroad Street. Railroad runs North/South. Turn right onto Railroad St. At the south end of the stadium, a single electric wire crosses the street and the railroad tracks. This is the general location where the birds were seen for the 2 hours we were there.
