Wallace Coffee Sir, if this is permissable?

Fellow TnBirders

Although Saw-whets are thought to be very uncommon in Alabama and much of
Tennessee, this irruptive year proved productive for our banding efforts. I
know that some of the banders in Tennessee, including Mark Armstrong of
Seymour, banded a few as well.

I am providing two URL addresses for anyone who might enjoy seeing several
photos of the last two (of eight) that Martha Sargent and I banded in our yard
this winter season. We intend to end our 2007/2008 Saw-whet banding efforts
after this weekend.

Life is always a hoot, but this year it has proven to be a toot-toot in
Central Alabama.
