[TN-Bird] Savannah Sparrows, Ovenbird, Blue-winged Teal at Ellington, Davidson Co.

I went back to Ellington this morning to see if there were any species we
didn't have on our NTOS walk there yesterday. Not only did I add 12 species,
but
three of those were new for my Ellington list, BLUE-WINGED TEAL, OVENBIRD,
AND SAVANNAH SPARROW. I visited a couple of woodsy places early that we didn't
get to until late morning yesterday, and also spent a good bit of time in a
place I hadn't explored before: the field, creek and pond on the east side of
the creek that runs parallel to Edmondson Pk. The teal were in that small pond
and the Savannah Sparrows were preening in a bush next to the creek.
birds we didn't have yesterday but seen today:
Canada goose fly over
blue-winged teal one pair
great blue heron 1
mourning dove 5
belted kingfisher 1
eastern phoebe 1
white-eyed vireo 2
purple martin 2
northern rough-winged swallow 1
gray catbird 1
ovenbird 1
savannah sparrow 2
