About 11:30 AM Wednesday morning there were about 150 Sandhill Cranes circling overhead gaining elevation (kettling?) almost directly above my location here at the intersection of Rt. 136 and Rt. 293 right on the Overton Putnam county line. They were slowly heading northward as the continued to rise.
