Sept. 10, 2003 Island #13 Lake, Co. TN Seek and yee shall find! I just got a call from Mike Todd and Nancy Moore, at 8:30 this morning they had 2 immature Sabine's Gulls fly in and land on the upper end of the little slip of Island 13 that is still out of the water. The birds picked up and landed at least three times working their way south. They were last seen about 20 minutes later as they picked up the last time, where they were resting with some Ring-billed Gulls, and flew out of sight. Mike got a few distant shots and they will keep looking and report on any other sightings. Needless to say there are two happy campers on Island #13 at this time. Again 'tis the season for these jewels to pass through, so look over some water somewhere soon........ Good Birding!!! Jeff R.
