[TN-Bird] Rutherford County Swan

Chad Smith and I observed a swan late this afternoon just west of Murfreesboro
The bird is an adult and we feel most likely a Tundra
There is no yellow at all on the bill, but the bill shape, and fact that the
black border above the bill is rounded would favor Tundra over Trumpeter. I
hope to get out in the morning and take some photos for confirmation

Directions:

Exit I-24 on SR 99 west toward Eagleville (exit 80)
Proceed about 5 miles to Old Salem Highway and turn right
The swan was in a flooded field fairly close to the west side of the road on
OSH, about 400 yards from SR 99

Will update status tomorrow

Cheers
