[TN-Bird] Rufous Hummingbird Day 70

Willie is 70 today in Smithville, Tennessee, time.  And like most old
folks who can't sleep late, he showed up at 6:31 a.m. while it was still
dark everywhere in our yard except for the light from the spotlight over
his feeder.  A noisy car came by at the same time he first appeared and
so he only stayed a millisecond but then returned within five minutes
for two longer visits of 10 and 25 seconds.  

He remained hidden yesterday except for his visits to the feeder.  There
was a cold rain all day and he was wise to stay dry.  Today is supposed
to be cloudy again but we are looking forward to tomorrow when the
forecast is for sunshine and we hope Willie will bask in it from the
branches of his sunny day bush.  We are anxious to see him this weekend
because we are planning to leave for Minnesota on Monday.  Anybody out
there want to Willie Watch for a week?
