Late this afternoon I briefly observed a ROSS'S GOOSE at Cove Lake St. Pk Campbell County, TN feeding at Louie's restaurant with the Canada Geese that were being fed leftover bread. The goose was very shy, and flew when I came around the building to attempt a picture of it. Tis my second sighting of a Ross at Cove. Bobaparte's Gulls have been visiting the lake the last week or so. An OSPREY may have decided to spend the winter at Eagle Bend Fish Hatchery in Clinton, TN (Anderson County) I saw him today along the Clinch River. Ducks present were Ruddy/ Ring-Necked , Scaup , Green-Winged Teal, a Bufflehead and many Mallards.
