Montgomery Cty, TN

Heard my first of the fall season Rose-breasted grosbeak yesterday in my new
backyard. I recently moved to southeast Montgomery county near the Fredonia
community so I'll be reporting on the bird life in that neck of the woods in
the future. I heard a bobwhite giving a covey call early last Sunday morning in
the empty lot beside mine. Also had a pine warbler singing a couple of days ago
in one of the mature pines. I look forward to surveying the new territory.
