The male Rose-breasted Grosbeak seems to have taken up residence intermittently at a different feeder now (also filled with Black Oil Sunflower Seeds). I tried to get a photo for myself for posterity but the digital camera doesn't seem to want to work through the screen and the zoom is poor quality anyway. So, I've got my video camera (VSH-C film) ready to go. I did catch him on film but only his head is visible from behind the leaves. I'm hoping to get a really good shot of him eventually. Have never seen one in this yard ever before. Maybe a sign that other life listers are expected in the future if I keep a supply of the sunflower seeds and suet feeders filled up? :) Barry Jernigan Murfreesboro, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
