Hi folks, Maryville Blount County October 21, 2004 Staying at home with Allan is sure helping me learn what lives in my own backyard. We had two more yard animals yesterday. A 'possum by our grape vine and a Rose-breasted Grosbeak on our feeder. Though I'm seeing sparrows in various locations, so far the home front only has a single Song Sparrow. With the tall grass, native plants we've added and 3 big brush piles, we keep hoping for more. charlie ===== ************************************************** Charlie Muise, Naturalist near Great Smoky Mountains National Park "Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of cancer." -Edward Abbey ************************************************** __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
