Migrants have slowed down in our yard and we assume the reason is the tropical
storm causing them to sit tight. We did have a beautiful Worm-eating Warbler
this morning. But the surprise of the day was a white Rock Dove with a
gold/brown neck band that has now been at the feeders and drinking in our pond
for almost three hours. We've had flyover Rock Doves before but never one in
the yard. The bird seems so hungry we wonder if it is a migrant.
